Please note that members of the New Cal-Shake Settlement Class who own or owned property outside of California on which a Cal-Shake roof is or was installed had the right to exclude themselves from the Class. If you excluded yourself, you get no benefits from the Settlement, but you keep whatever rights you may have to pursue your own lawsuit. The decision to remain in the New Cal-Shake Settlement Class or exclude yourself has important legal consequences.
The October 28, 2005 Deadline for Exclusion has passed.

If the Cal-Shake shakes on your roof were manufactured between January 25, 1980 and January 31, 1986, this current settlement will not cover your claim. The settlement period for Old Cal-Shake shakes has ended.
